AHCC® is an extract from the shiitake mushroom (Lentinula edodes), produced using a specially developed, patented fermentation process. The extract contains alpha-glucans, among other compounds. AHCC® is a registered trademark of Amino Up Co., Ltd.

The capsule is plant-based (pullulan, from fermented starch). The product also contains rapeseed oil, dextrin, bulking agent (microcrystalline cellulose) and alpha-cyclodextrin. The product is 100% vegan.

How to use

Take 1 capsule twice a day with a meal and water. If there is an increased need, take 3 capsules twice a day. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

What is AHCC®?

AHCC® stands for Active Hexose Correlated Compound. It is an extract from the mycelium of the shiitake mushroom (Lentinula edodes), produced through a patented fermentation process. The extract contains alpha-glucans, among other things.

Is AHCC® the same as shiitake powder?

No. AHCC® is a fermented and standardized extract, not a ground mushroom powder. The production process and composition differ fundamentally from standard shiitake supplements.

What are alpha-glucans?

Alpha-glucans are polysaccharides present in the AHCC® extract. The product contains 100 mg of alpha-glucans per 2 capsules.

How many capsules should I take per day?

1 capsule twice a day with a meal and water. If there is an increased need, 3 capsules twice a day. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

How long will 180 capsules last?

At the standard dosage of 2 capsules per day, a package of 180 capsules is sufficient for approximately 90 days.
