Sunwarrior
Sunwarrior started somewhere in the back of a health store in a small desert town, when two friends rejected the unacceptable proteins on the market and looked to nature again for something better.
Sunwarrior believes that plants provide the cleanest and most powerful nutrition, rich in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and phytonutrients that we are only just beginning to understand. Our bodies need real food, especially in this day and age when food is heavily processed, removing all benefits and nutritional value before we have a chance to use them.

About Sunwarrior
Sunwarrior is an American plant-based sports nutrition brand, founded in 2008, known for four protein lines: Classic (pure rice), Classic Plus (rice blend), Warrior Blend (pea-hemp-goji) and Active Protein (wholefood shake). Vegan, gluten-free, no artificial sweeteners. The authorised EFSA claim applies to all lines: protein contributes to a growth in muscle mass (with at least 12% of the energy from protein).
The four Sunwarrior protein lines
- Sunwarrior Protein Classic — pure rice protein (single source) — simple and affordable
- Sunwarrior Protein Classic Plus — rice blend with pea, chia and quinoa — more complete profile
- Sunwarrior Warrior Blend — pea + hemp + goji berries — creamy texture
- Sunwarrior Active Protein — wholefood shake for an active lifestyle
Which Sunwarrior product suits me?
Classic is the simplest and cheapest — pure rice protein, ideal as a single source. Classic Plus is for those who want a more complete amino acid profile. Warrior Blend is praised for its taste and texture. Active Protein is a more extensive shake with wholefood elements.
Frequently asked questions
Which Sunwarrior is best for muscle building?
For the most complete amino acid profile and the highest leucine dose per serving: Classic Plus or Warrior Blend. For those who take protein several times a day, Classic (rice) is fine.
Sunwarrior or Plantforce?
Plantforce is Dutch, often organic, with a rice amino acid blend (Synergy). Sunwarrior is American with more variety (4 lines). Taste and texture are often decisive — both work.
Does Sunwarrior taste 'chalky'?
Classic (pure rice) can have a grainy texture. Warrior Blend and Active are creamier. In smoothies with banana or plant milk, the texture improves.
Does Sunwarrior contain gluten or soy?
No — all Sunwarrior products are gluten-free and soy-free. Allergens: see the product label.
