Usage

Take 2 softgels daily with a fat-containing meal and water. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

What is krill oil?

Krill oil is a lipid extract from Antarctic krill (Euphausia superba), a small, shrimp-like crustacean found in the waters around Antarctica. Krill oil contains omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) in phospholipid form, plus choline and astaxanthin.

What is the difference between krill oil and fish oil?

The main difference is the form of the omega-3 fatty acids. In krill oil, EPA and DHA are bound to phospholipids, while in fish oil, they are bound to triglycerides. Additionally, krill oil naturally contains choline and astaxanthin, which are not present in fish oil.

What does choline do?

Choline contributes to normal lipid metabolism, normal homocysteine metabolism and the maintenance of normal liver function. Two softgels provide 83 mg choline.

What is astaxanthin?

Astaxanthin is a carotenoid with a characteristic red color, naturally present in krill. It is produced by krill and certain types of algae.
