About Green Pasture
Green Pasture is an American wholefood brand specialising in fermented cod liver oil, concentrated butter oil and related traditional food supplements. Produced using a fermentation method (no heating), which preserves the natural balance of vitamin A and D. For those who prefer ancestral wholefood supplementation over standardised vitamin supplements.

What is Green Pasture Butter Oil?

Why traditionally fermented or concentrated without heating?
Fermentation and low-temperature concentration preserve the natural vitamins and bioactive substances. With high heating (as in modern fish oil production), vitamin A and D are partly lost.
Why are the exact vitamin A and D levels not on the label?
Wholefood products have batch-variable levels. Green Pasture states that the vitamins are naturally present but vary — this avoids unproven claims and complies with EU Regulation (EU) 1169/2011.
Can I take Butter Oil during pregnancy?
Cod liver oil and liver products can provide vitamin A in high doses. During pregnancy: only on the advice of a midwife or doctor.
Does Butter Oil contain allergens?

How do I store this?
