Electrolyte Stamina - 90 tablets

Trace Minerals Electrolyte Stamina is a tablet supplement for athletes, active people and warm days. Magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance. Each serving of 6 tablets provides 250 mg magnesium, 590 mg potassium and 270 mg sodium, plus the patented ConcenTrace® trace minerals from the Great Salt Lake. A jar of 90 tablets provides 15 daily doses. Contains kelp — and therefore extra iodine — so not suitable if you have a thyroid condition without consulting a doctor.

Dosage: 4 to 6 tablets per day, depending on activity. Spread over the day, around physical exertion.

Timing of use: With and between meals, before and after physical activity. Take with a large amount of fluid.

Maximum daily dose: 6 tablets per day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Storage: In a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of the reach of young children.

Warnings

• Do not use if the seal is missing or damaged.

• Keep out of the reach of children. Not suitable for children aged 3 and under (due to vitamin B6 content).

• DO NOT use if you have a thyroid condition (hypo- or hyperthyroidism) or take thyroid medication without consulting a doctor. Kelp (Laminaria digitata) can naturally contain extremely high amounts of iodine.

• Insufficient data on use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult a midwife or doctor first.

• At 250 mg magnesium or more per day a laxative effect may occur.

• Consult a doctor if you have an existing medical condition (especially impaired kidney function) or take medication (especially blood pressure medication, due to the potassium content).

• Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Plenthera usage tip

Spread the daily dose over the day — for example 2 tablets at breakfast, 2 before or during intensive training and 2 afterwards. Take with a large glass of water. During long endurance efforts or extreme heat the upper limit (6 tablets) can be used, spread over the activity.

What is ConcenTrace® and why is it in this product?

ConcenTrace® is a concentrated mineral extract from the Great Salt Lake in Utah, from which most of the sodium chloride has been removed. It provides more than 72 trace minerals found in that water — on top of the four main electrolytes in the product.

Why has kelp been added?

Kelp (Laminaria digitata) is a seaweed that naturally contains iodine. The iodine content per daily dose is not stated separately.

Is this product safe if I have a thyroid condition?

Not without consulting your doctor. Kelp can naturally contain extremely high amounts of iodine. With hypo- or hyperthyroidism and with thyroid medication, prior medical advice is necessary.

Why does the jar say 3,000+ mg electrolytes?

The total amount of electrolytes and trace minerals per daily dose is above 3,000 mg — consisting of magnesium (250 mg), chloride (800 mg), sodium (270 mg), potassium (590 mg), sulphate (110 mg) and the ConcenTrace® trace mineral blend (1,530 mg).

Can I combine it with other magnesium or electrolyte supplements?

In principle yes — keep an eye on the total daily amount of magnesium. Above 250 mg extra magnesium a laxative effect may occur. If in doubt: consult an orthomolecular therapist or doctor.

Does the product contain allergens?

No. Free from the 14 legally defined EU allergens. It does contain kelp (seaweed); mention this if you have a seaweed allergy.
