Our formula contains Naticol® type 1 collagen – hydrolyzed fish collagen peptides that are produced through a controlled process and are known for their good solubility and neutral taste.
Several clinical studies have confirmed that daily consumption of Naticol® fish collagen peptides, starting at a dose of just 2.5 g/day, improves key indicators of skin aging. Skin hydration, wrinkles, elasticity, firmness, and homogeneity are positively influenced.
Plent Pure Marine Collagen and Plent Beauty Blend Collagen contain Naticol® fish collagen.
The results of oral administration of 2.5 g of Naticol® daily for up to 12 weeks showed clinical improvements in skin elasticity and firmness, along with a reduction in the appearance of facial wrinkles. Participants also reported feeling their skin more hydrated and radiant during the study period.

In a clinical study, taking 5 grams of fish collagen peptides per day for 8 weeks led to measurable improvements in skin firmness and a reduction in the appearance of wrinkles. Participants also reported feeling their skin more hydrated during the study period.

Plent Pure Marine Collagen and Plent Beauty Blend Collagen contain Naticol® fish collagen.
Clinical studies of Naticol® collagen peptides show positive results for skin and beauty with a daily intake of 2.5-10 grams, taken consistently for 8-12 weeks.
The most commonly used dosages in research are 2.5g, 5g, or 10g – all proven effective.
In general, higher doses produce stronger or faster results, but even smaller daily doses have proven benefits.
At PLENT we generally recommend a daily intake of 5-10 grams.

Clinically tested collagenPlent products contain Naticol® type I hydrolyzed fish collagen. This collagen is derived from clinically proven sources and is used in various scientific studies on skin aging.
Sustainably produced and 100% naturalThe fish collagen in Plent Beauty Care products is sourced from sustainably farmed fish. The packaging is fully recyclable. Plent products contain only natural ingredients, without added fillers or binders.
Delicious flavorsTaste was central to Plent's product development. While there are many different types of collagen available, we often found the taste unpleasant. That's why we truly wanted to make a difference here – and we succeeded! We regularly hear from customers that they particularly appreciate the taste. We're very happy and proud of that.
Added vitamin C from acerolaPlent collagen products contain vitamin C from acerola, an exotic fruit that is naturally rich in vitamin C.
Vitamin C:
- contributes to normal collagen formation for the skin
- contributes to the formation of collagen that helps strengthen the skin from within
- contributes to the maintenance of normal skin
- helps protect cells against oxidative damage
- contributes to the maintenance of healthy cells and tissues
- helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue
- works as an antioxidant for vitamin E and returns it to an active/working form
- is good for concentration and memory
The collagen in Plent products is hydrolyzed Type I fish collagen, but what exactly does 'hydrolyzed' mean?
When collagen is extracted from fish, it's usually in a long, complex structure. These larger proteins must be digested before they can be absorbed and become bioavailable in the body.
When such a large protein is hydrolyzed, it is "cut" using enzymatic processes to break it down into smaller particles, making it biologically active. This means it is better absorbed by the body.

Traditionally, collagen supplements use bovine or porcine collagen as collagen sources. Fish collagen is a high-quality type I collagen with a higher absorption capacity of up to 1.5 times that of bovine and porcine collagen (source:NCBI&mdpi).
Type 1 collagen is similar to the collagen structure naturally available in the body and is readily available to the body after consumption (source:MDPI).
As we age, collagen production decreases by 1 to 1.5% each year, starting around age 25. However, this is only one factor that contributes to decreased collagen production. Other factors also reduce collagen production, such as:
- Lifestyle factors such as diet, smoking and stress
- Excessive sun exposure (skin photoaging)
- Individual genetic factors
Reduced collagen production in the skin causes signs of skin aging:
- Wrinkles
- Fine lines
- Sagging skin
8-12 weeks of consistent intake to achieve clinically significant results. Results appear gradually.
