What makes it different

Fermented, not heated
Most cod liver oil is heated and refined. Green Pasture ferments the liver, an old Scandinavian process that releases the oil without heat.

Nothing added, nothing removed
No added vitamins, no refining. What’s inside is what the fish made: naturally occurring vitamins A and D and the omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA.

No need to taste it
The taste is strong. Don’t want it? Take the capsules. Don’t mind it? Cinnamon, chocolate or natural.
In winter, the sun is too low.
From roughly October to March, your skin makes hardly any vitamin D in Northern Europe. That’s why generations of Northern Europeans started a spoonful of cod liver oil in autumn. Now it’s two capsules at breakfast.

Good to know
Will I taste the capsules?
No. The oil is inside a capsule; you won’t taste a thing.
What is butter oil?
Oil from the milk of grass-fed cows. Green Pasture combines it with the cod liver oil. If you only want cod liver oil, there is a version without butter oil.
Is it suitable for vegetarians?
No. It is oil from cod liver, and the version with butter oil also contains milk.
I’m pregnant. Can I take cod liver oil?
Cod liver oil contains vitamin A. So check with your doctor or midwife first.
A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of young children.
